Frozen~~ The Final Battle

"Only if you wish to tell me about it; I don't want to seem a burden."
Xaiyon replied, tail waving.

Amauris smiled, she curled her tail gently around herself and looked intently at the floor. She mind forming her story in the right order and making it sound less of a faerie tale. She started in a quiet voice "When I was still with the... others of my kind, I was classed as important. Every mating season I would see someone new, someone else who wanted power and status. I turned them all down, till one day when I met a male who, at first glance, seemed caring... Different. He didn't seem as interested in my things but still I was unsure. Turning over my thoughts in my head I decided to ask him, he seemed too brilliant and he said yes to me. I laughed in enjoyment and we were together... Till one day, when I said that I must see my father at his death bed. I was an only child and he said that everything will be left to me! As I sat there looked at him, my mind went into turmoil, I could do nothing with everything he had given me, I had to get rid of it. Yet I didn't know how! I started the spiral into madness as I practically gave away it all... maybe It was my fault but this male, Vampirico, came to me one day and asked why I was doing it. I laughed and shouted, unsure myself why I was acting in such a way, and said 'Nothing that concerns you!' he looked at me in such a way I should have hit him, yet he came towards me and snarled 'What about me?!' and I looked at him confused... We fought, I wished I hadn't... But we did... and I ended up killing him! He has haunted me since and I stopped training, fighting and I escaped before I could be hurt or captured or look upon his body anymore... I cried but could do nothing about it... Then I came here... and... Met you!" She looked up and stared at Xaiyon, tears in her eyes yet she smiled as brightly as she could.

Xaiyon smiled warmly, though it was obviously weighed with concern.
"He has haunted you? Perhaps he regrets it as well, but hasn't been able to say so... Either way, I hope you are okay. There's nothing to worry about now, Amauris.
He hugged her for a moment, then sitting down again.

Amauris sighed "I have scared you, or freaked you out haven't i.."

"No, you haven't done either of those," Xaiyon warmly stated. "Hugs aren't always because I'm trying to find comfort. Perhaps I was... Giving it."

Amauris's tail twitched, she reached it towards Xaiyon and smiled. She lay her head down, still feeling sick, and whispered "If you don't mind me asking... Why did you choose to stay with us? Why did you help us and not let me die?"

"I guess I just... Felt I had to. I felt like there was something that couldn't let me see you-- or any of you-- get hurt. I don't want to risk any of you for my disloyalty to my race."
Xaiyon sighed, tail swaying slowly.

Amauris nodded, she looked away "Do you kind actually ever settle down? With each other or other species?"

"Sometimes. We usually don't, but a few do now and then. Why?"
Xaiyon's scales flashed a faint yellow as he asked his question.

Amauris looked away, she ignored his question and asked another "With other kinds or their own kind?"

"With other kinds. All of our kind are siblings." He replied, a soft laugh in his voice. "What is it?"

Amauris nodded, then shook her head and looked at Xaiyon "Just... Curious?"

"Oh... Okay. Well, now that you're feeling better, what do you want to do?"

Amauris shrugged "What do YOU want to do? I'm up for anything... I just wish I could have hit that stupid dragon!!" Her eyes blazed black as she thought of Lithe.

"I don't mind anything really. Sitting here with you is enough."

Amauris smiled, she looked away "Can't we go toward the Queen's place... Surely we can stop her!"

"I suppose we could--"

The walls began ato collapsed, and debris was scattered about as a massive serpentine creature appeared. Xaiyon froze; it was another guard.
"Siren, and I suppose we owe you the displeasure?"

The snake-like behemoth grinned and hissed, tail lashing about.

(( That was... fast and unexpected ... ))

Migara, surprised by the loud noise quickly flew back to the medical section. She saw .... Xayion... And the vampire... and... another dragon... She got closer to the new dragon and stopped only one meter away from him (?) " Who are you?" She asked.

Amauris jumped back, she wrapped her tail around her and snarled, low and under her breath, Gjiona swooped in "I'm guessing Amauris got angry and blew-" She looked at the Serpent and jumped "What the HELL are you?!" Amauris shivered, the spikes running down her back bristled in displeasure
"I don't know... But wait... Why would I blow up a wall?" Gjiona grinned and squared herself beside Amauris.

"I," Siren began, "am a Rapticaean Wyrm. Hehehe... Yes, quite aged am I. I'm here to get Xaiyon, he needs to return home. Who are you, little Vampire?"

Xaiyon's scales turned a deep scarlet, though they suddenly flashed yellow in anger. "It's none of your business who she is. Leave, Siren, or you'll be dead as well."

Amauris raised herself up, finding strength in admitting her past to Xaiyon, she glared at Siren, "I am Amauris. And I wish not to be called 'little' for I am old, and though you may be bigger, stronger and faster than me. At least I have morals to some extent. At least I feel bad for killing and drinking."
She laughed harshly, a slight of sunlight glittering off her pure white scales, "Can you say as much?"

Giona frowned at Amauris, amazed with the vampire's new strength. She knew that HORRID voice was nagging her, telling her that she was vile and horrid and weak and stupid.
But she turned to Siren, "Hello there Siren. How are you today? Nice day isn't it?" She gave a cocky smile.
