Trying to Fit in...

Kadaen grinned. The web was always useful. He already had the address of the one called Isis, and he could easily find the other one from there with the help of his snake. Quietly, he picked him up and rubbed some warmth into him. He wrapped around his neck and hung there. Kadaen always had a thing with his snake. He never knew why. He walked downstairs and collected the printouts from his printer and walked out of the door. His mum called, "Where are you going?" He didnt reply. He shut the door and ran to his bicycle, which was attached to a fence. He got on and sped off. He had the direction on the map. "Turn right twice, straight ahead, turn left, straight ahead, fifth turning on the left... You have reached your destination."

Kadaen looked at the house. It didn't look like anyone lived there. He walked up to the door and saw it was open. He stepped in quietly. He stepped forwards into the house and walked towards the kitchen, where he heard something going on. He stepped silently, but he knew that they would probably have heard him...

I suddenly felt very thirsty and I couldn't control myself. I grabbed the bottle, threw the lid off and drank the blood down. I dropped the bottle and slumped against the wall, relieved and wiping the blood from my face. I then realized what I had done, and cursed silently.

I cursed again, aloud. I didn;t want to go... but I felt that I had to. I stepped back, away from the door, but the sighed and walked forward into the view of the two. I looked at the girl scowling at me, the one I had always thought was pretty. Didn't look like that now. I smiled at them sheepishly.

Kadaen sighed. "I saw you teleport... and I wondered how. So I tracked you here and I came." When he heard the "staring lad" comment, he blushed and turned away. "Sorry about that English thing, Gijona... I didn't mean it, it's just..."

He sighed.

Dramon had to lean against a wall when he got back. Teleportation disorientation. However, he found a bathroom and was able to spray himself down with deodorant, so he didn't smell quite so bad. He heard voices from the kitchen. Kadaen was here. Sensing an oppurtunity, he crept down, and popped out just as Kadaen was explaining why he couldn't stop staring and finished for him.
"That you are completely, totally and utterly in love with her?" he joked.

Kadaen's snake hissed. "Ssh... calm down..." Kadaen said, then looked at Dramon. "Piss off and mind your own business," he snarled, then looked at Isis and Gijona. "So i'm sorry. Shall I leave now?"

Without waiting for an answer I walked away, outside and grabbed my bike. I got on and rode off.

OK, that was it. Dramon had had it. The one time he tried to help, to be normal, and he got his head bitten off for a bit of light ribbing! He stormed out the house and slammed the door so hard he heard wood crack. He swore in the general direction of Kadaen, and then walked home, where he slumped in a chair, lit up, and put on the TV hoping to drown out any thoughts of the day. Who cared if they all died? Not him... And then horror washed through him. Gjiona dead to him would be Christmas come early. Same with Kadaen. But Isis... This was the cause of the horror. Him, Dramon, the loner. Was it possible?

Was he falling for Isis?

((Uber plot twists FTW! Posting at past 11pm- not so much. *yawns*))

Dramon couldn't hear a thing, even with his senses, thank God for TV. Sadly, he did hear that he'd wrecked the door via his gift. Feeling bad, he sent to Isis- I'm sorry. Do you want me to mend it?

I sighed, and shut the door. I shook some rain off my shoulders, walked upstairs, and slumped into my chair.

I looked down at the floor, and saw my snake gliding over the carpet towards the underside of the desk. I stared at it for a while, then sighed and looked at the computer, turned it on, and began doing nothing.

I looked back down at my snake, who was staring at me. "What are you looking at?" I said. I sighed. It nodded. I stared. It nodded again. I shook my head. It followed my lead. I waved my head in a circle. It followed suit.

I laughed, the figure turned to ash in front of me. I gasped and jumped back, what had just happened? Sighing i looked above me, clouds were rolling in... Rain started to splatter around me! I hissed in annoyance and suddenly the rain halted and the clouds moved away... I laughed.

I tilted my head to the side. It did the same. I turned my head around to the right. Again, it did the same. I laughed. It hissed. I quietly began reciting a poem I had to learn at school. It hissed along to the tunes. I began thinking what I could do next with this new power of control over my snake...

I thought to myself, as I watched the clouds roll away I thought of a bright flame... Suddenly i yelped, in my hand was a small green flame. It flickered this way and that... Weirdly enough it didn't hurt... Whats going on?

I began testing the limitations. I asked it, in my mind, to go downstairs and see what my mum was doing. It immediately set off. I closed my eyes and concentrated, pretending that I was the snake, and I could see everything it could... I saw my mum, sewing a pattern into some cloth. "Mum!" I yelled.

"Yes?" came the reply.

"What are you doing?"

"Sewing... why do you ask?"

I smiled. "Doesn't matter!"

This could be very useful... I thought to myself, and looked at the computer.

About half an hour later, I knew most of the snake species that lived in Britain, and those that are poisonous and which aren't. I began researching on ones in the area.
