Elfen Lied, Just cause it's a great mix of violence and romance... It's got such a depressing ending :'(

FLCL. You have to watch it and you will think it's awesome, too bad it's only 6 eps long -__- Then again, it was just a test >.>

D.Gray-Man, I don't have much to say about this one really. It's like FMA but it just seems slightly more depressing

I was gonna put Naruto but I hate the fillers and only think the 100 or so eps that aren't fillers are slightly good, even tho they do draw things out too long -__-
Same with Dragon Ball (Z) The fights drawn out over 3+ episodes that get them nowhere -__-

Tsubasa Reservior Chronicles by CLAMP (and its sister/ parallel (?) series, xxxHolic) because it's full of action, adventure, humor, crossovers, angst, and plot twists that only the oh-so convoluted, yet oh-so wonderful minds of CLAMP can generate. Don't even get me started on the most recent chapters. =P

Fairy Tail because it's funny and generally a good read for me. It has a large cast of highly amusing and interesting characters, a great plot, and a lot of action. Occasionally, there's even some angst.

D.N. Angel I highly recommend, if only because of the absolutely beautiful art (of the manga; the anime is so-so), conflicted characters, and the humorous antics of Daisuke. My one problem is that the author has gone on hiatus, so the series has essentially stopped. Hopefully, not permanently.

I'll probably even throw in Vampire Knight, because the characters and the angst and the art is amazing. And what vampire fangirl doesn't have a soft spot for non-sparkling vampires?

School Days, It's another sorta romantic one. But very odd, I can't really explain what it's like. It's an adult anime btw but nothing as bad as Elfen Lied with gore/nakedness lmao Also the ending just seems to come outa nowhere, the most freakiest part of the anime xD

How the hell did I forget:

Death Note! This is the most brilliant anime I've ever watched! And I've seen some pretty awesome animes ;P The way Season 1 ends is just brilliant! The entire anime is slightly longer than the "average" anime, being 37 episodes, 3 live action movies and the first season (I think) In Ryuks eyes. I recommend watching the Japanese. For the very reason of this very bad line from the english dub... "I'll take a potato chip... and EAT IT!"

Argh, I know these is another anime I'm missing but I just can't think of it, Also if anyone knows where I can find the english dub of D.Grey-Man episode 14-26 in the UK. I can't find it on any website I go and nowhere sells it in this stupid country

Umm... I don't read much manga, which is unusual, but I did like the manga books Diabolo. They're not very popular but I love them. You could probably find them on eBay or Amazon or something.

Cardcaptor Sakura is also good, a bit childish though. I re-watched it a while ago considering the last time I saw it was on TV when I was like 6 years old xD

Imma watch The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya soon, So, I might put a review or w/e up of how I think of it here

Deathnote - For once (at least from what we - the one with the keyboard and I - know) an anime that doesn't focus on the violence. The mindgames are awesome, and it's always fun to pause and figure out what they're going to do next. The ending was pretty fitting though, heh.
Hellsing - The overall plot is pretty good, the cast of characters will always be burnt into our minds (Jan is funny) plus the fights are awesome.
Yu Yu Hakusho - See Hellsing's reason, except He . . He . . short guy with the dragon powers . . dragon of darkness flame . .
Ruroni Kenshin - Same reason as the previous two, although no chars really stick out to me.
Speed Grapher - Same reasons, the story however is a highlight, plus the villain is a favorite.
Ghost in the Shell - Laughing man.
Black Blood Brothers - Story was alright, had awesome fights, but was too short. Still worth mentioning.

Just to bring a topic back from October last year. I was just recently watching Rozen Maiden. It's EPIC. One of the best anime's I've seen in aaaaagggeeeeeessssssss. It's a good mix of funny and serious although it can seem a bit schizophrenic sometimes. So yeah, it's good. I think it's more of a "girly" anime for some reason, no idea why though... AND the main guy (the only GUY in the anime) is voiced by the same guy who voiced Izzy in Digimon and what's his face from FLCL

The name rings a bell... What's it about/like? Considering it's only 13 episodes (or at least, that's what this anime site I use says it is) I think I might watch it

It's epic indeed. Oh i can't sum it up very well... It's about these attractive aliens that come to earth and are like slaves, they make a huge stir and there is only one guy, the main dude, who hates them. Until he becomes a master and what not. It made me cry and laugh. You'll like it. And another, that i'm so addicted to it isn't funny, is Vampire Knight. I convinced my mom to get Volume One for me... =3 *huggles it* Zero is my fave character and i only watched episode 9 season 1. *tis sad* But it's epic and i'm hooked. So i plan to get the DVD's and all the Manga =D oh. And the soundtrack for both of the seasons but me can't find it so that sucks... *grumble* i got still doll, Futatsu no Kodou to Akai Tsumi and Rinne Rondo. The second one is my fave but i'm sorta hooked on the beauty of it. So yeah. Toni has finally hit the super duper crazy button and is in love with japanese, and Korean she might add, music. B2ST is an amazing Korean Pop band *.* hehe. Anyway. Anime. So yeah. Get loads of Vampire Knight stuff is pretty much my obsession XD

Was it Rich that got you into B2ST? Because he showed me some of their videos and I thought they were horrible. Mind you, I think most K-Pop is horrible Also, although it's not a Manga or Anime. Scott Pilgrim is AMAZING. I have yet to see the film but the Graphic Novels are extremely funny Worth a read and the money I didn't like Vampire Knight. But then again, the only Vampire Anime I ever liked was Hellsing. Just 'cause Alucard is so bad-ass.

Just to add, there's a Japanese club on at school every Tuesday after school in Room 16. No idea what it's like but I thought you should know, as, y'know, I'm nice sometimes. Although there's only about 4 people who go atm then there'll be me and Jamie Webb AND apparently they carried on the work from last year so I have no idea if they'd start from the start again or if the teacher would give a re-cap or something xD

Also, what Japanese music are you into? A good J-Pop singer is Utada Hikaru. You'd like her methinks. She did the main songs for the Kingdom Hearts games (Simple and Clean/Hikari and Sanctuary/Passion) IMO she's the only good J-Pop singer but that's because I don't like J-Pop Another good band you might like (Being Oshare Kei, which is like pop-rock) is LM.C and/or SuG. The 2 biggest Oshare bands from Japan. They're pretty cool if ya ask me
